McLaren Automotive has found success in connecting with the passionate art community in Dubai and the wider Middle East region. The luxury supercar manufacturer has partnered with renowned British abstract artist, Nat Bowen, to create a unique Artura Art Car that features her colourful signature artwork. The special vehicle is part of Bowen’s highly anticipated exhibition at the ME Dubai H๏tel, which runs until 31 March. The collaboration explores the use of Chromology to represent the psychology behind colour, as well as themes of ‘Art’ and ‘Future’, which inspired the name of McLaren’s first high-performance hybrid. The car’s exterior features translucent resin pigments that adapt to the light, reflecting and absorbing the surroundings, making it an integral part of the space it occupies.

Working with McLaren Automotive on this thrilling project has been a privilege for me, and I’m thrilled to showcase it as a part of my first solo exhibition in Dubai. My aim was to create an immersive experience that would transport visitors to a peaceful state away from their everyday distractions while enabling them to explore and deepen their relationship with color. The Artura is built on the foundation of McLaren’s philosophy of super-lightweight engineering and is a culmination of every quality inherent to a McLaren vehicle, enhanced by faster throttle response, lower emissions, and the ability to run solely on electric power thanks to its revolutionary electrified powertrain.
